The Silver King Hotel is an attractive property easily accessible from the major thorofare entering Park City, Utah. The staff was very helpful as website had not confirmed my reservation with the hotel staff and additional time and effort was needed before my wife and I were accomodated. Once checked in, we found our room to be clean and comfortable. It was decorated in a western motif which 'fit' the area quite well. We highly recommend the property and would definitely book in future trips to the Park City area.

Nice room if you don't need any services whatsoever

We arrived a few minutes late and found the front desk was closed. We had to ask other guests who told us that our keys were put into a box outside. Not once in three days did I ever actually speak to a person and I seldom saw an actual employee. The employee that I did see could not help me. We left messages and notes to ask for towels, TP, etc. to no avail. Apparently, the purpose of this hotel is to provide a bed for skiiers who do not intend to spend any time at all inside the hotel needing or wanting anything. The location is terrific but I wouldn't stay there again if they paid me. Oh, and they overcharged me for the room - twice - and argued with me about straightening it out. A nightmare.

Great All Seasons shuttle access to/ from Hotel, Airport, Downtown, Shopping, and other local ski resorts(No car needed-7days). Great indoor/outdoor pool. Clean, daily maid service. "Good Times" Only downside was sleeping for 4 men in 2-queen bedrooms, pullout couch & a roll away (still not bad size 2 bedroom condo).

Arrived with my friends 01/06 thru 01/10 stayed in a 2BR Spa unit. Requested a high floor slopeside and was put on the bottom floor by the parking lot where the loud machines cleared the parking lot anywhere from 2:00 am to 6:00 am every day. Had to beg the staff for everything. Even TIOLET PAPER. The front desk help knew nothing about the hotel and always promised to deliver and actually never called back about anything.Housekeeping did nothing but give us clean towels and make the bed. There was no information in the room about the area and certainly not about any of the hotel serivces or proceedures. Well...they don't offer any services.I moved to a 1BR Spa unit 01/10-01/16. to meet my husband for our anniversary. I booked this vacation in July 2007 for January 2008 I have never been so disappointed. I was told by the management company All Seasons Resorts that I would be guaranteed a 1BR Spa unit Slopeside. I even checked on the room when I checked in on the 6th and was told we had a nice slopeside unit. What we actually got was a view of the parking lot. I called the management company and they put me into the manager's voicemail. i left 2 messages and never received a call back. I never even saw him there. We had the same problems with toilet paper, shampoo, no fire log in the fireplace etc. daily. I will never stay at this hotel again and I hope this review will stop you from making a BIG mistake and booking your vacation at this hotel.

Our family of four took our second sking vacation in past three years and each time stayed at the Silver King. Each time the front desk service was terrible. Seems new employees each ski season and do not know much about the area. Asked for a wake up call and after a 15 minute wait, they were not sure how to set that up. Over hearing many quests checking in, appeared that many reservations were missing or mixed up. Not happy quests.
After our first day, we no longer had room service of new towels, fixing our bed, taking out the garbage or vaccuming. I can live without the vaccuming and fixing my own bed for a couple of days, but the thought of paying $650 a day and receiving that kind of service is not for us. And this happened on BOTH trips.
The location of the hotel to the lifts is exceptional and no need for a bus is why we choose Silver King. It is right on the bus line which also was nice.
Park City itself is a nice city and seemed very safe. Dining out was very expensive at every restaruant ($18-$25 / plate entrees).
IIf we were to do it again, I would choose another resort area (Snowbird, Alta, etc) as I understand the area is more reasonable and less crowed.
